Dr. Paul Fisher
Dr. Fisher has undergone extensive Post-Graduate training in whiplash injuries, headaches, posture analysis, neuropathy, pregnancy, neck pain, shoulder pain, and low back pain. He is Advanced Certified in Chiropractic Biophysics, Whiplash Biomechanics and Trauma, and Selective Functional Movement Assessment. He has undertaken extensive studies in ligament injuries (the primary cause of chronic spinal pain) and has two studies pending publication.
It’s not often that you find a healthcare provider who shares your passion for what is possible when it comes to your health. But at Innovative Nerve & Joint Centers, we know that better health—and feeling your best—can and should be within everyone’s reach. That’s why we don’t settle for traditional treatments or conventional approaches that often limit health outcomes by focusing solely on pain management or symptom relief rather than identifying and resolving the root cause of specific health issues.
Dr. Fisher is originally from Okoboji, IA. He attended Iowa State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in MIS and a Minor in Chemistry. Upon graduation he moved to Lombard, IL to attend the National University of Health Sciences. While there, he was awarded both a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Fisher was also student body Vice-President and a member of the executive board member of Student American Chiropractic Association. He also received a Master’s of Science in Nutrition from Bridgeport University.
Prior to graduation, Dr. Fisher was selected to participate in the Department of Defense internship at the National Naval Medical Hospital in Bethesda, MD. While an intern there, he performed weekly rotations in other departments including: Neurosurgery, Pain Management, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Oral Facial Pain Clinic. He then started Fisher Chiropractic and Integrative Health in Hinsdale, IL, which he ran with a partner until July of 2013. Dr. Fisher has been at Innovative Nerve & Joint Centers since August 2013.
He is a member of Chiropractic Biophysics Non-Profit, the Illinois Chiropractic Society, and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
When not at the office, Dr. Fisher enjoys reading (especially history and philosophy), coaching t-ball, running, and manning the grill or the BBQ.
Dr. Pinter
Dr. Pinter is originally from Cary, IL—a northwest suburb of Chicago—and attended the University of Iowa, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology and a minor in Psychology. Having had family members who experienced great success with chiropractic care, as well as having mentors who helped nudge him in this direction, he discovered a passion for holistic healthcare. He then moved to Lombard, IL to attend the National University of Health Sciences to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
While in school, his primary areas of focus were injury and sports rehab, soft tissue recovery, and manual adjusting. He has experience with post-surgical and sports injury rehab, having attended numerous seminars on the subjects. He has also completed a 100-hour certification course in the utilization of acupuncture. Outside of the office, Dr. Pinter enjoys staying active by going to the gym, running, boating, and he loves watching nerdy TV shows and movies. He is excited to begin this next stage of his career here at Innovative Nerve and Joint Centers in Chicago!
